The next two volumes will follow on November 25 and December 16, 2019.ĭetails are sparse for now but we cannot wait to hear the isolated score in all its glory! You can currently pre-order your copies via the Nine Inch Nails website. The season 1 soundtrack will be released several weeks apart on three different LPs. It’s been announced (via Stereogum) that the Watchmen soundtrack will be released on vinyl. The score is provided by artists Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) and partner Atticus Ross and now we have details on how you can get your hands on a copy.
New Line, you know you could have scored an Alyssa Milano commentary, she's got the time.If you’ve seen HBO’s Watchmen pilot (reviewed here) then you’ll know the series features some pretty unique music. Aside from the option of viewing the added two minutes of footage in the unrated version, the only extra is some meager talent files. I would have liked a television spot perhaps in it's place at least however.
You'll just be trying to balance the volume to be able to hear it all.Įxtras: This movie was a direct to video release, so there is no trailer.
Other than that, this disc sports a solid track, with a rich surround sound and clear dialogue. This had me screwing with the volume level quite a bit. The dialogue and low key effects are quite low in volume, while the soundtrack and surrounf effects are very loud. While the disc is decent sounding, there are some issues with it. As you can imagine, Poison Ivy 2 is a soft core sex movie, so audio is not really the focus. Black levels are deep and natural, and I could not find any remnant of compression problems.Īudio: This disc uses a 5.1 track for audio, but I wouldn't recommend this as a demo disc by any means. The color levels are gorgeous, the movie is filled with bright and vibrant hues, especially during the outdoor scenes. That is a good thing in my book, but some people don't care for it. The image has a very slick, film like appearance, it doesn't look like home video. Since this is not what most would call a high profile title, New Line could have rushed out an inferior disc, but they didn't, they issued a fantastic disc, including a beautiful visual transfer. New Line is one studio you can always trust for top notch visual transfers, and this disc furthers that reputation one more step.
Video: Poison Ivy 2: Lily is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, with the option for full screen also available. Who will get Lily? Will anyone want Lily after she bangs half the school? The two men become obsessed with Lily, but only one can truly have her, and that's where our big finale takes place. She seduces both the roommate and her married teacher, while keeping an "innocent little girl" reputation with most people. She likes what she reads, decides to try the same thing, and becomes a dual personality as well. One day Lily discovers a diary hidden in her closet, and reads about Ivy, a girl who we all know from the first film. Another man, this guy one of her roommates (Johnathan Schaech) is also quickly involved with Lily, and she has fallen for her roommate even though he manages to tick her off. One of her teachers (Xanader Berkley) takes a liking to her, despite his current marital status, with a wife at home. Lily (Alyssa Milano) has finally arrived at her new school, one dedicated to the arts, and as soon as she gets there, men are enamored with her. Movie: The second film in the Poison Ivy Trilogy, Poison Ivy 2: Lily, may not be as good as the first installment, but fans of the genre will find this worth their time.
